The Veterans Tribute will hold a brief ceremony at the Tribute on Monday, May 27th at 10am to honor our Nation’s Fallen Veterans. The ceremony will include an Invocation, Pledge of Allegiance, raising & lowering of the US Flag, singing of American the Beautiful, remarks by our Guest Speaker, and the playing of Taps. This year we will also include a public reading of the names of Fallen Veterans submitted to us (somewhat like the reading of names at annual 9/11 ceremonies in NYC, PA, and DC). If you would like us to read aloud the name of a Fallen Veteran to memorialize their service, please send the information about that Veteran [Name, Rank, Branch of Service, years of service if desired] to our email account – info@vtotmi.org – and we will be sure to include them. We invite everyone to attend this important event.
